As your quotes state ... E. coli virus...

How does it get to the vagina (forget anal, as most women won't do that)? More likely the way it was wiped? Then it gets "inserted" during intercourse?
It says "most", not all....

In addition to advice above she must only wear 100% cotton panties with 100% cotton gusset. No g-strings.

Wax pubic area, no shaving is not the same.

Male partner should practice really good hygiene and circumcision might help in extreme cases.

Pee after sex.

Is it possible that the infection could be passed on to her by her sexual partner(s)?

Yes.

There is something they call "honeymoon bladder" based on the logic that a virgin gets married and has sex for the first time on her honeymoon and immediately gets a bladder infection.

Infrequent sex for the specific partner leads to repeated bladder infections while more frequent sex takes it away.

However there is no hard and fast (punny) rule regarding frequency.

Take a shower after sex and wash everything properly down there. And then pee.

That way nothing has a chance to linger and cause problems.

Yes, a bit of a pain, but it's better than bladder infections.
