Is anyone else seeing a whole load of packet loss on IS's international route?

Thats an interesting traceroute app, what did you use?

As for IS's international route for ISadsl, its a totally different route, with 0% packet loss, except for the extremely high latencies...atleast speed is still 100%

Also note, they dont use uunet (alter.net) but instead at&t...

Yea its defenitly starting on that 168.209.2.3 router - I checked on PRS and I cant see any problems from that route either, so I guess its isolated to the dialup network (which they dont give a jack about)

thats from MTR - It does similtaneous TCP pings which lests you really see where the packet loss is starting.

thanx wamatt :)

Just for interest sake, the real UUNET-ADSL solution (heck it is not a solution!) :

PS. That is on line that is idle!

I think this is in the wrong topic, but it fits well with the above for comparison, especially now that SAIX is gonna cap local. I think some people might want to look at the Internet-Solutions adsl accounts as an alternative. I mean R250/m for a 3gb account is not too bad, I hope they will keep it uncapped local after cap like they are doing it at the moment...

Funny that I get better international latency on dialup than most of these ADSL lines are getting ;)

With that said, my problem was sorted out.
