A “Subscriber Identity Module” is a small miniature card that fits into some cell phones and electronic devices that stores personal identity information, addresses and more. The SIM card has evolved since its release in 1991 by Giesecke & Devrient, a company that made the first commercially available SIM cards. The main difference between the 64K and 128K SIM cards is the space available for the mobile network company to provide additional SIM-run applications.

your SP has to further bugger up the glorious android first
If you say so, personally I find any non oem rom to be bloody fantastic, its when aholes like Samsung come in and turn a 1gb os into 8gb, how's that for a nice manufacturer, add in 7gbs worth of rubbish 99% of people don't use and can't u install, then the SP goes and adds in even more rubbish on top if that. Then people wonder why thier phones are slow.Top be fair Android is pretty good at buggering itself up before the SPs get involved. So many features have been ripped out or ruined over the years, or just never got added to begin with.
Just had a nightmare experience.
Inserted a Vodacom sim card and on startup it automatically installed all 9 of Vodacoms bloatware apps, 2 widgets on the launcher screens and Vodacom wallpaper. The homepage and app icons etc were all reset to default. Couldn't stop the installation and there was no TOS agreement. Apps can't be uninstalled.
WTF!!
