Need some advice please.
We have a cellphone that is used by security guards at our gate to call residents when they have visitors.
Some units have more than 1 number programmed into the contact list.
Unfortunately we received a shock when we got the latest statement today.
There is an amount of R1700-00 logged against the number that the security used for a premium competition that CellC has been running.
All charges are for a Premium SMS to the number 14707.
There is no option on the SMS thread to opt out of the competition, and no way to indicate that you do not wish to receive the SMS's that they keep sending.
Is there any recourse for us?
