Blocking certain web site?

Does Iburst sometimes block web sites?

The reason I’m asking is my personal site just “Sometimes” doesn’t want to open but I have asked other people and they say it works fine.
 
Are you perhaps also on Iburst?

Because thats the same thing that happens to me, but the other sites on the server works just fine.
 
Do you mean the site or this blocking of sites on Iburst?

Sorry I need to know if I should go execute my host or Iburst :D
 
varsity101 works for me. This could be related to your IP address- some of them are sometimes 'dead' or sluggish for some sites. Sometimes rebooting your modem will get you a new IP address.

The domain www.varsity.co.za is not the same as www.varsity101.co.za

www.varsity.co.za is hosted locally and the site is not active and resolves with the IP 196.23.156.202.

www.varsity101.co.za is hosted in Chicago Illinois, USA, by FASTSERVERS INC therefore the poor connectivity to the site as timeouts seem to be an issue on this route to IP 74.200.216.187 and when iBurst's international connectivity is degraded (frequently) this site won’t be accessible...

NOTE: no issues currently on the route via SAIX!

Yes varsity.co.za is not mine.

I don’t know what’s wrong but just sometimes I can access the site and there is no pattern.
But I can still access the other sites on the server. The new dns setting should fix this issue but only time would tell.
