Blocking SMS From Specific Number

Is it possible to block incoming SMSes from a specific number? I have requested so many times for them to remove my number from their database, but I still get their SMSes and they come through at all ridiculous hours.

I am on Vodacom and have a Blackberry 9380.

Additional info added:
It's not technically SPAM, its a organisation the company I work for belongs to, and they have my cellphone number and send out SMSes about available contracts. But I do not want these stupid messages, and despite having told them this they still continue. I have even requested they remove my number COMPLETELY from all their records for our company but to no avail.

So I know exactly where the messages are coming from, and have tried to stop them, but they are refusing to stop this junk I don't want.

I'm not sure if this app is available for Blackberry, but for Android phones there is one called Postman. It effectively blocks all sms' not coming from your contacts list or those that are on your white-list. If you get an sms that Postman trapped, that isn't spam, you can white-list the number and Postman won't trap sms' from that number anymore but will let it through to your inbox.

Sadly I can't find it in Blackberry App world, but that sounds like what I am looking for. So if anyone knows a Blackberry alternative that would be great!

Doesn't BB's have this by default, just disabled ?

Check Options - Security - firewall, I do not have access to one right now but I am sure I remember SMS's in there as an option.

Found this, but it sadly blocks everything - you can allow it to received stuff from contacts but to sit and save all the numbers I get smses from for banking notifications etc will be a royal pain

Will look into these apps that do it.

Update: Found one called "Phone Warrior" which is free, had some good reviews. And it appears to be doing the job required. Can add individual numbers to the blacklist to block either SMS or Calls from those numbers (or both).
