Hi,

I have a small homebased office of me and an assistant that I have recently employed. I have discovered that when I am out of office at clients she is surfing facebook and using whattsapp excessively. I know abosolutely nothing about networking. Can someone kindly help me set up the opendns.com settings on my ZTE MF253 router. I already have a home account with opendns.com but have not been able to set up anything. I know how to log into the router menu, but that is about it. The following devices are typically connected to the router: 2 x laptops, 2 x phones, printer, ipad.

Thanking you sincerely

I have tried using the URL block on the router but it doesn't work. Apparently it doesn't work on encrypted websites.

Just a thought, but... you're two adults sharing a workspace, right? Is her 'excessive' chatting impacting on her productivity? Are you paying per gig of data, and has she dramatically changed your cost to be online? If no to both, consider informing her that you are aware of her actions and that you expect her work to be first priority. Some might appreciate some trust being shown...

Of course if the above doesn't apply, restrict whatever you need to restrict. :)
