Hey all

Well as you most know that me and Gudon not on the same page, but i would like to know if i created a blog site with him, i put many many hours working on that, now i get banned from the site, am i not allowed to have the work i done??

As i got a email from him:

Hello Kyle,

Sorry, your YouBlog blog is pending transferral of ownership, I am
currently doing some cleaning so that the new owner(s) can start where
they know what is going on.

Your blog will however not be sent to you, and any further requests will
admittedly be rejected.

Now is it not by law i am the creator so i have the rights to the blog? I mean i put so many hours into it now he can just dump me and put a new owner on?

Please i need some legal advice, as i am not willing to loose that blog.

In most of the free blog/webpage sites I have taken a look at, they hold the ownership to everything on their site. So you have no legal legs to stand on.

If you perform work for an entity, such as the development/design of a blog, the work performed for such an entity whilst contracted/employed for them, belongs to the employer. They hold the right of ownership to the intellectual property, unless the contrary is specifically agreed upon in a contract.

In the case in which their is no written/verbal agreement, you have no leg to stand on; so in most cases, you really cannot reclaim your work.

So you saying, that they can do with all my work do what they want with it?

But if i buy that domain then he will not be allowed to use it right?

As i mean i did make it, he just hosting it, so now there no way i can get those files? Unless by asking?

Have you read their Terms of Service? It should make it pretty clear there.

Ai man, ya the thing that irritates me, is they deleting every thing i did, its no use to them so all that work just deleted, thats why i just wanted it as its not going to harm them.

But i asked Gudon nicely, and sadly he rejected it. And i understand as we did have a fight, but its no use destroying some thing that some one else worked so hard on just because your feelings are hurt.

Dude, why dont you just do your own blog on wordpress or blogger, or whatever and then repost your blogs.
