Blogging software help

So I finally got a design for my website and create all my pages.
Problem is I'm looking for blogging software.

I tried Wordpress, but when I try to install it, I get a 404 at wp-admin/install-php.
This could probably be because my host does not have php installed.( stand to be corrected)
I am using Mweb's uncapped hosting.
Is there any alternatives which I can use, where I can customise the interface?

Wordpress will really be worth a shot, you should find out what the issue is
