Has anyone tried this? In some ways it does makes some sense, Im still skeptical though.

I want to know if anyone has tried it or knows of anyone who has and how it worked out?

I tried it for a week and then got tired of eating plants. Its cool if you are O or B, if you are A then it sucks.

I looked into, fell for it, tried it and concluded its a load of crap. Any good dietician will tell you that it does not work. The diet makes assumptions about ones health and ability to consume certain foods, thats all.

If I ask enough people with type O if they are allergic to water, I will get the results I'm looking for and ignore the facts.

But go ahead, give it a try.

Just follow a low GI diet instead. Far healthier. I was diagnosed as diabetic in January and in the space of 14 days following a low GI diet I got my glucose levels under control where diabetes is no longer an issue for me.

thanks for the info. Im in the A group, which means veggies for me :( which I dont hate, but I cant imagine being a vegetarian.

What I have started doing since Monday, is cutting out wheat (breads) and processed carbs (pastas). I already feel more energetic.

Im gonna give the blood diet a miss.

It has no scientific basis whatsoever. So, you'll be lucky if it isnt harmful. Avoid.

agreed, the concept is based on pseudo science with no real scientific back up or research findings, investigated it a couple of years ago.

I think, anything without scientific research should be viewed with skepticism, but it should not be discounted. Thats not to say I will be trying out this diet, Im just interested in hearing from people who have tried it, good or bad.

A lot of the weight loss in unscientific diets is through loss of water (dehydration) and muscle, and not fat. This is the major cause of yo-yo dieting. If you want a proper diet then go see a dietician.
