How would i know if my GPU is blown , if i go into a game it throws Green block on the screen and i can still play the game but the screen is full of green block .

I have now uninstalled all my drivers and then reinstalled them , DirectX , Geforce and PhysX by nvidia . And its all the new drivers .

And it still does the same thing .

So should i start to worry and call my supplier so long to come get it to be fixed as the GPU is still uder 2 years of warrenty or WHAT should i do .

Any ideas guys .

Thanks

Don't know which you have but I've got a GA-M57SLI-S4 and I am also void of an on-board GPU. Gigabyte seems to love doing that. Asus, on the other hand, has almost no boards without a GPU on-board.

Usually it's the problem with the onboard Memory of the graphic card.

Try us Riva Tuner's overclock function to downclock both GPU/MEMORY clock speed, sometimes it's a temp fix but if it's under warranty, send it in.

My Gpu runs at 47-50 degrees on idle and if i start playing games it goes to 58-60 degrees , which does not seem right .

Its fine... My PC temp runs at 50-60 :p depending on the room temp..
Try to clean the fan and that silver part wheres theres dust.. Your temp may drop...

It does not have a fan on it , it has got on huge heatsink on it that looks very mean . and its clean . but im sending it in , as my dual screen on GPU does not work aswell . All settings correct .

Google it , Gigabyte 8600gt
