Cell C owner announces major restructure and new name

Blue Label Telecoms says it is undergoing a significant restructuring that involves separating its telecoms and non-telecoms business units, and wants to change its name to Blu Label Unlimited Group.

“In light of this strategic shift, the board believes it is prudent for the company’s name to reflect this new direction by omitting the reference to ‘telecoms’,” it said.
