Blu-ray player

So I'm usein the HDtv as a pc monitor, and its time to get a HD player what would be my best bet. Internal drive, external drive, normal blu-ray players or a PS3 ?

PS3, can upgrade the HDD and add all your media to it or stream it from a PC on your network. Bought one about a month ago and haven't looked back. Great piece of kit.

Internal drive but go for the readers and not the writers.

+1, you can't rip blu-rays with a PS3 .

Problem is ive got an Xbox elite with a huge amount of games including all the Guitar Hero stuff Bleh.
But hey, If i just use it as a bluray player is it going to be worth it?

If you're talking about the PS3 Not really, especially considering blu rays cost like R300, which is ridiculous. The internal drive is also way cheaper and is more versatile.
