People that are entrusted to protect and serve the public should not have to be warned about abusing their authority, however, positive steps, lets see what happens.

WTF? Civilians would be arrested for reckless and negligent driving - in addition to the action taken against the person being convoyed, the driver should be arrested too. This would at least give the driver second thoughts too.

Anyway big deal, so they banned blue lights. The retards will probably start using red ones now :/ I suppose it's better than nothing though.

Well Bheki Cele has already tried to pour cold water on this one.. so it won't change anything in KZN unfortunately.
