I have a Asus P5G41T-M LX motherboard and use the onboard GB lan. So I download with alt.binz every night through the night. The problem is that every single morning I see that some time during the night it got the blue screen. This happens every night and it happens when I'm not in front of the pc.

It happened with windows 7 then I installed windows vista and this morning same thing happened. So I can assume it will happen with xp too. The Lan driver is the only suspect because if I leave my pc connected to the internet it does nothing. I connect with a pppoe connection from windows.

I check for another driver but there is only 1.

Pcmark, could be a faulty hdd have you checked for bad sectors? When you load windows do you install the lan driver? Try using the driver that came with windows and check windows update for the latest one.
