Blue Tooth USB Receiver

Good Morning Folks - please help me. We have a Samsung TV but it does not seem to have a "jack" for headphones (my husband is rapidly losing his hearing in both ears and the TV volume is set sky high) and this is driving me insane. So was wondering how to circumvent this. We do have an unused set of bluetooth earphones but it would appear that the TV is not blue tooth enabled. Our system is linked to DVD player as well - this does have a jack for headphones - would a blue tooth USB receiving unit assist me? If this is possible, what make etc would you suggest (we are pensioners) so cost would be a factor. Thank you so much

Pleasure, those were the cheapest I could find, Dixon's aren't the best brand but the things I've bought from them have lasted longer than I thought.

You've already got a set of bluetooth headphones right? Those should work with the above. At the end of the day the headphones would be a personal preference and comfort.

I will let him try the " in ear phones" and if this is not comfortable will then take it from there

Chuckmyster, I will have to look at this and maybe take a photo - all i know is that it is a smart TV - approx 4-5 years old - will get back to this post as am not home at the moment

would you be able to get tv sound through the DVD player. Doubt it. I am sure you would be restricted to DVDs

a lot more versatile due to having optical. Your tv likely has optical output
