Bluetooth connection hassle

I am using a Nokia 6230 as a GPRS/EDGE modem to connect to the internet with a MTN account.

There is a Bluetooth connection between my PC and my phone.

What happens is when I click to connect I get the following messages on my phone:

"Connected to MY_PC_NAME"

Immediately followed by:

"Disconnected from MY_PC_NAME"

and then again:

"Connected to MY_PC_NAME"

After that I get the "Verify username and password" message on my PC and then I am connected.

This is therefore not a problem but more of a nuisance.

I have deleted the Bluetooth pairing between my phone and PC and repeat the pairing process. That did not solve this nuisance.

Does anybody know what I can do to connect without the intermediate disconnect?

I would guess it has something to do with your bluetooth security settings on your phone. Set to the lowest security when connecting to that device (your computer).

Alternitvly take the authorization off..
