I am looking at getting the Sony MEX-BT2500 and would very much like to hear from anyone who has one....I am most interested to hear how the call quality out is, ie the quality for the person on the other end if they can hear you clearly through the mic.

Any other options. I am not really keen on putting in just a bluetooth hands free kit, I am keen on the combo as I dont have a mp3 player in at the moment,

Output quality is as good as the external speakers, input quality is good provided all the windows are closed...

Quite a cool radio, automatically pairs with the handset when you switch on the car.

I dont have one, saw a demo at a ca show once.

Thanks JK8 - I have read a number of negative reviews online about it, they say its ok except the mic is rubbish so people can hardly hear you.

I have found an upgraded model which I can get which seems better, I am also looking at an Alpine which is basically the cream of the crop, it has Parrot bluetooth and imports your phone book which is pretty lekker. Might go for this even though its a bit more expensive.

Cool, Parrot carkits are quite good, better than some of the cellular manufacturers. I think any of the radios without an external mic will have a problem.

Was playin in my moms car the other day, it has the "earpiece" built into the dash, very good system.
