It appears this isp was formed to service Bluff/Merebank only and their introductory pricing is excellent. Has anyone signed up with them? Their sales guy came through over two weeks ago, took my details and there has been practically zero communication since.

I managed to get Lauren to reply to a few emails, who I assume is part of the sales team, a week after I had sent my application, she said installs would start this past weekend but I have not heard anything from them. The contact number off the website just goes immediately to a automated message about the sales teams being out the office.

I understand they are new and probably have more sign ups then they can cope with but you have to communicate with applicants. Right now they seem like a very ass backward isp. Currently I'm willing to wait a week or so more as 1000/1000 on zoom fibre from them is R949pm with m2m terms no minimum service period(that's if they ever install) .

Please stay as far away as possible from ANO. They are the most unprofessional ISP I have ever dealt with. It is near impossible to get anyone on the phone. Fibre went live in my area on 25/05, I signed up for the 1000/100 package, the link has never gone about 500mbit and is about 350mbit sustained, after querying when the issue is they basically tell me the internet is an unpredictable place and they can't be responsible for poor speed. Their tech guy was probably the dumbest person I've spoken to in a while. Making analogy of a ferrari on a highway, and how his internal network is 2 x 10gig. He also told me it is impossible to get even close to 1000mbit(note i was not even getting 50% of 1000mbit) and if I wanted a 1000mbit connection I need to pay for business fibre 1:1 contention 24/7 SLA etc 40k pm xDDDD

So I sent them a video of me downloading a game off steam and Epic launcher at the same time utilizing about 400mbit, then while that was going 4 speedtests from different durban based servers concurrently with the downloads and the link does not go above 400mbit and the tracert I had set to 8.8.8.8 also starts heavily spiking to 200ms from 14ms.

I said that if this is the level of service I am to expect please cancel my account immediately and prorata bill me for the 3-4 days of service (monthly is 949 for 1000/100 so 949/31 is around R30 a day). Within 15mins of this email the service link was completely dead and the ONT shows authentication failure on the PPPOE. Five minutes after they say they will invoice me and the cancellation has been noted.

Just a shocking few days of service, support is non existent. The address they have listed is 600 Tara Road, which on google maps is SAPREF oil refinery xD.

ANO seems to be in it for the cash grab to sell off the signups they get in my area to a bigger company for profit, insanely unprofessional company. So glad I am done with them (well I hope)

Yea been with zoom through cool ideas, brilliant service so far, already got a speed bump to 1000/500 and price drop.
How long have you been with Zoom Fibre and how stable has it been? Pricing is really good all round.

Almost 2 months, was quite unstable the end of June. But that's due to them upgrading packages, been great so far this month.
