Yes you can, that's basically what an intelligent charger is. What you need is a BMS that's programmed with lead acid specs.Good Inverters are also management systems in a way because they have most of the functions to keep batteries in good health. Is there a 4s bms for lead acid batteries? Can one even use a BMS ON Lead acid batteries?
Regards Andre
Let the inverter do the job, is it not intelligent enough?I have 4 x 12v lead batteries in series linked to a Solar array & 48v inverter, I want to manage the batteries better than I have in the past.
You can use a load balancer to balance your batteriesI have 4 x 12v lead batteries in series linked to a Solar array & 48v inverter, I want to manage the batteries better than I have in the past.
Nope. These are for balancing batteries in parallel (or 2 batteries in series). Multiple batteries connected in series make up a single battery. Just like the 6 x 2v cells inside of a battery make a 12v battery.Something like this could also work, maybe there's one for 48V.
