How much would I be looking at for a service on a BMW E46 model?

I'd like to know as well. Mine's coming up for an inspection and I'm reluctant to take it back to a particular dealer so am looking at options.

Around R3000 at a BMW dealership.Parts outside of the service(i.e brake pads) come extra.
