they lost the plot about a year ago when they started with this massive grill crap , my current 520d ( g20 i think) was just before it started getting fugly

Several manufacturers are doing all they can to minimise the presence of something so vital. Even the car I drive has reduced the size of indicators from previous models. Why!

Seems that you have a civilised one.

I visited Japan just before Covid, and there were a number of cars with hideous grills like that.

Looks like they've finally left off those horrible orange lights other drivers call indicators. They were never needed on a BMW!
