The fans it comes with aren't that great. For 7k i'd expect some higher rpm/cfm fans. It only comes with 4 fans too

Yeah, R3K maybe. R7k is not worth it. This is harping back to the days of R15K Zalman cases.

Amazing what a brand name adds to the price.

If the flow is right you don't need a million fans. 100,000 maybe, but not a million.

same... but only to put the motherboard in

for everything else I don't need tools but I keep them with me thinking "something is going to go wrong"

I find the tool-less tend to rattle a bit, but this depends on brand really.

In some scenarios though I find that no matter how tool-less the chassis is there's always some tool working on it.
