so i saw an X1 on the road the other day...
it looked like a station wagon on big wheels.
what's your take on the X1?
Kinda lame, I'd rather take a similarly-priced Forester or Tiguan (with offraod pack) and at least have some decent offroad ability. (Or a 325i Touring).

I maybe the odd one out here, but I like it. Compared to the X3, the X1 is pretty nice. Its not a fully fledged SUV as such but the over all design is much better than that vile X3

Its OK. Don't quite see how its a separate segment though that needs to be cover. Even the X3 was already a bit of a dubious crossover, but this is just ridiculous. Looks like a cross of an 1 series & a takkie.

I think it looks okay, nothing breathtaking, the back looks too short, a right angle makes the front look good. Unnecessary new model and creating a new target market makes no sense whatsoever, especially when you have the X3 and your 1/3 series, which the X1 looks like having combined. I see no need for it personally, but sales will probably disagree with me.

Front is alright, the rear gave me the same feeling as watching a monkey masturbate. Curious, but I'm still sure it's wrong.
