Who here has done the training program?
(I bought this book may years ago and never used it)

I'm going to have some time this year to put in some decent hours at the gym. I'm trying to get an easy start to weights and somewhere that explains exercises an how to do them decently.

Maybe there is an decent application for this?

I have up to now been doing yoga and running. For reasons that I will not go into here it has been going slack for the last 3 months. So I'm not as strong and not as fit anymore. :)

. I will not have money to go to a personal trainer as I'm out of a job, but Mr Mila has me on his medical aid and the vitality thingy so we will carry on with that. Just mentioning it in case someone was going to suggest a trainer.

Used to work in a private gym that was classed as a body for life gym. It works. But then again, any exercise routine that is half decent will yield the same results.

It is relatively easy for someone who hasn't been in a gym before. Just call an instructor over and ask them for their help. You don't need a PT for a quick overview of the exercises. Try and get a female, the idiot guys load far too much weight for a woman that hasn't been before. Wanting to 'push' you and whatever other rubbish (Generalization, but a valid one).

You run and do yoga, so you are not a sedentary person, so you will be fine:) Good luck, it's enjoyable.

I started it at some point but not being one who can stick to a program it ended rather abruptly :p

Good luck though.

I see they have a mobile app - not sure if includes training tips etc. I recently quit Virgin Active to start training on my own equipment with my father-inlaw and was able to get a lot of help from various apps on the Android Play Store.
