"Boiling" potatoes in the oven

My stove top is kind of small and I do not have very large pot. I do have a huuuge oven.

If I need to boil 4 bags of potatoes, can I put them on the racks in the oven, set the oven to 100C and leave them overnight?

Because the lady of the food charity wants to make mash with them. Feck, I don't know how I ended up with the potatoes.

Mash is best if you've driven moisture out of the potatoes, so it's best made with baked potatoes in any case, so yes you can just bake them in the oven...
