Boksburg isn't all too big, so it can't be far away.

I beg to differ. I grew up there. Considering the last decade it really expanded. Especially around the mall. Is there a tower in boksburg?

Boksburg not big? I dunno about that. Maybe its just me, but apart from the M1 North almost every road I take out of Joburg ends up in Boksburg.

There was nothing in the October newsletter about a tower in Boksburg. In the network status section of the website it shows the Boksburg tower being fully operational.
I thought about asking someone in the IBurst callcentre where the tower was located, but it's Friday and I really don't want to increase my blood pressure before the weekend.
PS. Why use "Boksburg" as an ID for the basestation? The thing doesn't cover the entire area known as Boksburg. Why not use the suburb name? Maybe that would also breach some security protocol. Security by obscurity, i guess?

Just spoke to Iburst, apparently the new base station is by Thambo Memorial. Think its time to repoint my antenna.
Edit: I might be wrong but that seems to be a silly place to put a base station, at the botton of a valley behind a mine dump...I would have thought that the logical place to put it would be at the top of the hill, in this case the building across from the civic centre where everyone else (MTN, Vodacom etc.) have towers.
