Need some input please.
Sorry if all answered before.
Want to get a Bold and not the new one as the keys are too small for me and was told the bold 9000 is better, bigger.
Think I will go with Vodacom as my experience so far with MTN has been just as bad if not worse than Voda.
1) What is the cheapest package with no pay in and from which provider?
2) Will BIS come standard?
3) Cost of BIS?
4) if I receive my gmail on this phone, will it then be considered as read and not deliver then to my Outlook on my home machine?

Thanks guys

1 -> For Vodacom go here -> http://www.vodacom.co.za/services/blackberry/blackberry_plans.jsp

2 -> On Vodacom's Talk BIS contracts BIS is inclusive and cannot be removed from the particular contract if say you use a non-Blackberry & want to avoid paying for the BIS service. See here -> http://www.vodacom.co.za/pkgcr.do?action=getpkgsgroups&pkgTypeId=4&pkgGroupId=10

3 -> See answer to question 2.

4 -> With OS version 5 on the handheld you can sync Contacts & Deleted Items from Gmail to your Blackberry. Email reconciliation is usually one-way. If you enable POP access on your gmail account then you will STILL receive the email (Gmail) on your PC provided you have setup the account. The Blackberry will not "delete" the email from Gmail as Gmail's basic idea is to never delete any emails in the 1st place by default.

Bear in mind that Vodacom BIS is generally quite slow compared to MTN (they both have bad customer service in my opinion) but I wouldn't suggest getting a Blackberry on Vodacom.
