It is on the latest software.
The battery has been changed

It switches off and lost all the photos

What do I do now?

Take it back, or try re-loading the OS (if that's possible) :confused:
 
Seems like It wanted an older version of the desktop app. It just didn't want to back up or anything. Uninstalled the desktop app. Installed an older version and things got started 

Good to know. I also have the same fone. Will keep that in mind if I have the same problem :)

Which blackberry desktop software version did you install ?
I'm using the latest with my 9780
 
How long is the manufaturer RIM Blackberry warranty ?
dont know, but i know someone that took back a 9780 after about 18 months & he got a replacement unit :) apparently MTN is not even trying to fix these things, just replace

You obvioulsy have to have a real manufacturing problem, not 'slow BIS' or water damage. The person who got a new phone, the loudspeaker stopped working.

MTN SP has a 24 Month Warranty, same a the Contract AFAIK.
Mine was replaced after 7 Months, USB Port Not Charging.
