Bomb scare @ Luthuli House

Johannesburg - The ANC's headquarters at Luthuli House in Johannesburg has been evacuated following a bomb scare, an official said on Wednesday.

"The entire Luthuli House has been evacuated," said African National Congress spokesman Ishmael Mnisi.

"We received a bomb scare around 10:30. We received information from our security person at Luthuli House that we need to evacuate as quickly as possible," said Mnisi.

He said the police were still searching the building by 12:20.
