Except that that presentation from Dr. Tinsely was at the conference this "youtube climate denier" (although he's never denied climate change ) put together. Tinsley was the main speaker.
Him and Tinsley have worked together. It's highly doubtful Tinsley would allow his reputation to be destroyed or work used by a "youtube climate denier" unless, of course, he agrees with it.
A "youtube climate denier" who has put out papers, together with NASA scientists, mind you.
(Off-topic: Davidson has worked with Dr. Robert Shoch as well. )
Climate predictions from the past were completely off -we're now bearing witness to those failed predictions.
Maybe it's time we try and figure out why instead of shooting down (Ie. "debunking" with flawed science) any / all real-on-the-ground science (increasingly) being put forward.
At the end of the day, the proof is in the eating of the pudding, as it were. Right now the pudding doesn't taste anything like we were told it would and people are asking why.
--EDIT: The presentation I "religiously" posted was by Brian Tinsley, the explanation-presentation afterwards was Davidson.
I did not watch it, until now. (Apologies, it got away from me and I forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder

)
Did a quick search on "Peter Hadfield" (and watched his "Who I am" video):
So he used to be, most notably, a BBC / CNN / reporter (with nothing to do with climate change, space weather or the sun), who eventually got a degree in geology.
A **main stream media reporter who focuses on "the accurate reading of science", but hasn't actually done any of the science or published any peer reviewed papers with on the ground scientists.
(I think I'll be sticking with the scientists doing the work -not reporters or (97% of) scientists who reference flawed [or worse, proven doctored] science.)
** From his "For the record" post in that video...:
"Sure, I'm always happy to talk to anyone.
But stop foaming ***and the mouth and shouting "liar!" long enough to tell me what the errors were in my video."
*** Not a good look for a reporter, at all. (Yeah I'm being nit-picky now...but it's his job, so....)
...is a pretty good indicator of your now-typical MSM reporting, so yeah...I'd like to see his corroboration with the people doing the work -be it in the form of presentations where they are the main speakers- or
his own published peer reviewed papers. Until then I'm going to take whatever he says with a little more salt than what Tinsley (or Shoch or even Davidson) has to offer.
Hadfield (and you -or anyone else, for that matter) should get into contact with Tinsley -I posted his details earlier in the thread.
(I wasn't joking or being snarky -or a dick- when I suggested it to Gordon earlier. I'm kinda' hoping someone will and ask him what he thinks -in layman's terms.)
I'm not interested in who is right...I'm interested in the truth.
--EDIT: I emailed Dr. Tinsley and asked him whether he's aware that his presentation (even though it was hosted by the "Observing the Frontier" conference) was used in this capacity. I also asked him whether he endorses
--Davidson's assertions that the sun is the driver behind climate change and just generally what he thinks. I'm not sure I'm going to get a response, but yeah...I tried. So let's see what happens.
