Bond interest rate

Why not post here for the benefit of other forums members too?

In short if you have already a bond with FNB, and want to move another (they give you 2 options)

1) Move home not your homeloan (only applicable on your 2nd bond), and if you apply through a consultant. This implies all registration fees will be written off. And also the cancellation fee of R1,428 will be written off, if you sell your home one day.

2) 50% of your registration fees PLUS 40% back in eBucks on your first debit order (rewarded 2 months there after).

So if you are moving your bond and the bond is R1kk, you must do the sums which one will benefit you the most.

On a R1kk bond (its R8950 back on option 1). To have a more clear picture on the second, you will need to know what rate you gonna get to compare the two options.
