Bond interest rates ?

Hey peeps,

In the process of buying a investment property - I work outside the country and am only back a few months at a time.

STD Bank just offered me 8.5% in a 700k loan over 20 years.

Anyone know if that sounds good / bad / average ?

I have 2 other bonds from a long time ago and those sit on 7.65 and 7.85 respectively.

Any thoughts ?

8.5% is 0.75% below prime. Which is very good for this time.
