Hey all :),

Thought it best to turn here for some advice, possibly from others who may have been in the same position.

My partner and I (we intend to get married however there is no rush), are moving in together, he owns the apartment and the bond is solely in his name.

I'd like to contribute to the bond (the reason for wanting to contribute is because we intend to get married and together we can pay off the place in under four years) but we don't want to go through the hassle of having to do an application in both names/pay registration fees etc. all over again?

What type of agreement would indemnify me in terms of money put into the bond and being able to get it out again should things not work out?

You can buy shares or trackers and sell it after you get married and pay off the house in 4 years time.

I would relook at the relationship if you had this concern.

You would need a lawyer and not a forum to give you legal advice. As you plan to marry, you need to factor this into your prenuptial that you made contributions.

Also weddings are expensive, better save up for that instead as going into a marriage with debt is stressful.
