Discovery Health has screwed me and my family a couple of times and I am now leaving the scheme and joning Bonitas, I have heard good things about Bonitas and how they service you in times of need.

Anyone knows anything/has something to say about Bonitas service?

Same like most medical aids. Its a scam if you lead a perfectly healthy life. You will always subsidise the sick and lame, and when you do require assistance, they may not cover 100% of benefits. You damned if you dont join and damned if you do.

Dicovery health suck. been looking a Bonitas as an alternative also Momentum seem be the best to get ripped off by.
This whole day to day thing is the biggest rip off in medical aid no to mention they medical aids only pay 100% of thier rate for hospitalization, so even if you do
require medical aid and they pay out you still got to pay the shortfall. It is really a crime.

I am healthy as a horse... I am only taking it because it's a work requirement and in case of an accident... Don't wanna wake up at some George Mukhari hospital being attended to by a trainee.... Med aids, insurance and the likes are the biggest rip offs of our times!

Well, perhaps an option with a sound hospital plan ought to service your requirements.

Iv been with Bonitas for +12 years.... no major issues, apart from feeling screwed. Contributions paid vs Claims and i feel cheated.

Hospital plan sounds ideal and comes out cheaper ...

Im with Fedhealth no major issues but its expensive and for day to day claims like Dentist all medical aids sucks. the limits for these essencial services is not enough. They pay for hospitalization in full but u dont go to hospital that often no one in my family has been in hospital for 10years. Thats why its a 'Grudge Purchase'.

Fedhealth seen they looked good too, but I want Hopital cover but if I going to be apying for med aid I may as well find someone that cover my day to day like basic dentistry and optometry

They are expensive but like insurance though, you don't need it everyday but when you do, you will be glad you've got it
