I work in a guest house and I recently tried to turn on our old amd duron 600 pc which didn't work(it is dead). On the pc was an access file that an accountant had fixed up to manage the books. So we are currently without any book keeping application.
I have some training in office from high school, would it be possible for me to re-design this application in access, or would I need to have had accounting as a subject too?
Isn't there anything more advanced or at least user friendly than access or excel? What would you recommend I use ?
We would also like to be able to manage reservations / appointments on the computer with a strong GUI based interface.
Perhaps there is software applications that can do both of these?
