Booking learners license

Hey i need to book for a learners license on behalf of somebody somewhere in JHB. Do you call the 0860 Gauteng number or do you call the testing station direct. cause i believe that call centre has been closed down recently cheers

Don't know how it works in JHB, but I recently booked my learners in CT and all I did was pitch up at the Traffic Department, fill out a form, get my eyes tested, pay my money and leave.
I didn't know that you could book for someone else, how would you do the eye test etc.?

LOL. Westhoven is always fast. 2 weeks maximum.

You have to pay the R80 at Westhoven within 5 days.
Two black & white ID photos.

You'll get a receipt after you have paid

When you go write the test, you have to go with that receipt and R45 to pay if you pass.

+1million to the advice about Westhoven. Needed to book for my bike learners, woke up this morning went to gym, got home at 10am, called the 0860 Gauteng number...waited to hear lovely Phil Collins played by a 10 year-old with a xylophone...but, OMG!, a human voice! 5 minutes later I had a booking reference to write my test at Westhoven next week Thursday. Drove through to Westhoven at 11 to make payment and do eye-tests etc...was done with everything by noon. In less than 2 hours I had called, booked and paid...and I'm writing in just over a week's time.

OMF, I kid you not. Just wanted to hug someone. lol
