Hi there...

If I want to purchase books, for referencing Visual Studio 2008, which also provides nice step-by-step instructions for doing something, WHAT book(s) should I buy...? Have looked on Kalahari.net, and came up with a couple of books that looked nice...

Thanx...

OK... Cool... But for referencing...? I can learn it from the videos, but that wouldn't help me if I need a quick reference on doing something...?

And I use a 3G card on contract... Would that videos be available to download...? Then I can download the bunch from an ADSL connection, but else, I don't think my 3G's cap will last very long...

There are many good online (written) tutorials for VS2008. MSDN and CodeProject should be a big help... Besides, if you install the licensed version of VS, you get a comprehensive version of MSDN installed right to your local computer, which saves you on bandwidth.

Cool...

I have quickly checked the MSDN site, and it looks good...

This might be kinda a stupid question: Is there a way to print out the part of the MSDN library for VS2008 using one request...?

+1

Very good.

It is also supplemented by the online searches.

Very good. Most problems could be solved using that.

It's so much faster just using the search facility! Why page through hundreds of pages while you can just search in an instant?
