If you have a poor signal at home or you want a neat portable antenna view Rob Philpot's site http://www.philpot.me/3g2.html. I have made the simple wire antenna and it gives a signal as strong as my roof mounted Poynting unit. I modified Philpot's home made plug to fit a Poynting pig tail.
