You may have receievd a notification already in Windows 10 if you have Windows 10 installed through bootcamp (through Apple Software Update facility); the problem I am having, is that when I try to download this update (alongisde the other iTunes and QuickTime updates), it keeps giving me an error, like as if there is download "fatigue"--not sure if this is a bandwidth issue or just a problematic download from the server side.
When I restart the download, it start from beginning of the download--the download is over 1GB size!
Before this, I was on Windows 8.1, and I could just go to the Apple bootcamp website (download page) and download a standalone zip file for the mac hardware I have. Is there a way to get this bootcamp 6 update for Windows 10 as a standalone install. This way I can also use the same download on my other machines, instead of eating off my data each time (I have 3 mac hardware that are dual booting off bootcamp).
Can you point me in the right direction? Many thanks.
PS: I have searched on web but all results point to "embeded" updates, and no standalone version. Also, if you know where the Apple updates are temporarily stored on my machine during and after the Apple Software updates it self, would also make it easier to find these large downloaded updates.
