Boot from USB

Do most new motherboards support this.

If one was to then install a card reader onto a usb port would the board the be able to boot from a memory card?

I cant find on-line reference to help me out here. I am getting an Asus P5GC-MX and want to boot from a CF card in a built in card reader that will be connected via usb to the MB. Asus manual and website does not have info and google is not my friend this time

May I ask how you know? Do you have this board or do all Asus board of late support this?

How will the MB see the card reader. Will it be able to boot from it?

boot from it,depends what on it to boot.
Also try reinstall the usb ports/hubs from the motherboard cd.

Have you got a card in the card/stick reader.
