I will be moving to the U.S. at the end of the month and therefore doing a big cleanup of all my data and files. I've always kept a separate pc from my mac, which I am now throwing on the trash. I have installed xp on a dedicated bootcamp partition for some legacy software that I am using.
I have been using macdrive on my old pc - Is it worth using it on bootcamp?
could xp damage my macos installation? Would I have any benefits from macdrive over folder shares from via vmware. Could I use picasa with my current iphoto library, via macdrive? I have a license for VMWare Fusion 2.x.

It's certainly nice to have. Macdrive 8 under Windows 7 has been pretty solid for me. You certainly can use Picasa with your iPhoto library.

I would recommend VMWare Fusion though, over bootcamp, especially version 3, as it's just much more convenient and easier, to backup etc, and fast enough for everything except games.
