Borderlands GOTY - DLC invalid codes(Xbox 360)

I bought 3 copies of Borderlands GOTY. When redeeming the DLC codes it says invalid code.
We tried all three copies' DLC codes on three different SA XBL accounts none of them are valid.

I will not create a UK account to play DLC I bought in South Africa.
I payed my year subscription for XBL South Africa not UK.

This is poor support from Microsoft.

My GOTY copy came with all the DLC on a separate disk? I bought it about 2 weeks ago.

I bought it a week ago from takealot.com

One disc for the game and 4 DLC codes(tokens) for DLC download

Yeah, there are two different versions - one on-disc, and the other as DLC codes.

The fault actually lies with 2K Games, as it's up to them to certify their content for the local Xbox LIVE. But nonetheless it reflects poorly on the overall service.

Btw, why don't you want to register a UK account (ignoring the principle of it all)? It'll just be a secondary account to download the DLC. You can still play it on your SA account once it's on the Xbox.

It seems that I have no choice, I'll have to get the dummy account if I want to use the DLC.

Dumb MS XBL Support says I have to get a refund because the DLC is not available in SA :wtf:

I created a dummy UK account to download the DLC, so that's sorted.

I got this game primarily for co-op play.

I am lv10 at the moment so just started.
