is there anyway to play borderlands without using routesentry ? i tried it with the program and it just kept disconnecting ingame.. when i disable int account .

I want to log on with int , and play with local cap , but it doesnt work on borderlands for some reason

how do u play with local cap when there are mainly international servers?
you can host, but then only saffers can connect, possibly, it may try send info the central server and falls over because ur int connection is not active.

I think it will have to send a few kb here and there to keep the connection 'alive'

What you can possibly do is play over system link and setup each others pc's to use something like hamachi so that the xbox think it is still on a LAN even though its going over the internet

tried hamachi it doesnt work in borderlands. you would have to create your own server for hamachi and thats a process ...

coz then borderlands wont stay connected ingame. wish it was routed properly :<>

Its either use only INT cap or lan it . nothing else :<

To play online LAN without the timeouts, try Tunngle

Original thread about this and Borderlands is here.

Not sure if you can get away with local only though, worth a shot nonetheless.

not sure if u guys are getting the same thing as me here, but after accepting friend requests, the names do not show up in the friends window?

or will the names only be there when they are actually online?

Yeah had that issue as well, which is why I thought I had not accepted your invite the other day. You name is on my list now though. ;)
