I have a group of mates in the UK who I've been playing World of Warcraft with for a number of years. Every weekend we would do random things...like arbitrary instances and pvp in WoW, and sometimes different games. I've recently gotten very bored with WoW so I've been playing other games (Age of Conan, BFBC2, Mass Effect 2 etc) and recently logged back on vent to say hi to everyone.

They have all recently gotten Borderlands and are happily blowing stuff up.

What I want to know is how playable is Borderlands if you are playing with the server/host overseas? Has anyone had any experiance playing it?

I'm on a 512k line.
 
Well you will get extreme lag for one, you will run around and the creeps will just be standing there one moment and the next min they all dead since all your friends have killed them already. Also you will look like your on there heals yet they will tell you your about 1km away from them on there side. Add me on steam xfire or gamespy and we can play some borderlands me and bob just started up some multiplayer again.

I have never tried to play it online should maybe try it sometime but i think the lag is going to be horrible.
 
I havn't bought the game yet. Was just wondering how playing with people on the other side of the planet will work with the way multiplayer is set up.

I guess I won't get it then :(
 
borderland is fun but it gets boring after you finish it.there aren't billions of guns,just a few with def texture and def ammo.
