Less than three years after a thumping election win, the PM is resigning. How did it come to this?

Less than three years ago, Boris Johnson led the Conservatives to their biggest election victory since 1987.
Now, the prime minister has lost the support of his MPs and is set to resign. How did it come to this?

Feel sorry for Boris but this is how it goes. His biggest two problems was his wife and her kitchen government and secondly he tried to cover too much for the old boys club.

The problem with Boris is that he didn't really have a definitive direction or thrust like some other PMs and he also kept scoring own goals. I also think he acted in un-conservative ways by, for example, increasing taxes and putting UK into very tough lockdowns when he could have charted a path that Sweden or Ron De Santis did in Florida.

But two good things he did was respect the UK referendum result and defeat the anti-British communist traitor, Jeremy Corbyn.

I'm pretty impressed with Steve Baker who was one of the very Tory MPs who consistently voted against lockdown nonsense, but he is definitely an outside chance. I can't support the current favourite, Ben Wallace, as he tweeted pro-BLM nonsense the other year.
