So to make a long story short my head gasket blew.
They fixed it but the car was idling poorly, shaking almost. I took it back because there was error light on when they gave me back the car. They then proceeded to replace the the sensor, error gone got the car back shaking and idling poorly. Took it back the guy said no we must open it up to find the problem. Long story short they told me everything was fine.
Shaking car, idling poorly and felt like it would stall. So after all this 12k later i decide F this BS off to ford. Get to ford they tell me there we some tappet covers leaking, bolts missing which lead to the failure of a 2k part. The guy says to me he has no idea how on earth bosch could leave my car like this without noticing it.
Now that set me back another 6.5k at ford and the car is running like an absolute dream.
What course of action do i have here, they are AA accredited. Sending everything to the AA but if nothing comes of that can i take them to small claims court?
I also took my printers car in to fix the carb they charge me 1.2k for a full service, broke the exhaust again i had to fork out money to get that fixed and the carb is still stuffed.
Do i approach them and see what they say and if they are willing to credit me the ford amount for their obvious F up. The shaking was because there was a missing bolts and the other one was stripped and what that was causing the engine to shake badly. The handbrake is not working, surely a full 1.2k service would tight that up.
Opinion on what i should do?. In future these backyards ****ers will never see me again
. Is it worth fighting this or writing it off?
Should i threaten them with hellopeter or approach the guy at bosch and tell him i want the ford amount to paid into my account? I know nothing about cars but 20k later i feel raped by bubba with no lube
