I was wondering whether anyone has had any experiences dealing with them?

I have a 10 year old Opel and the service I've been receiving from GM over the last few years has been so putrid and overpriced I'd like to give them a try since the car hasn't been under warranted for a while but I still want to send it to a reputable place.

I'll probably take my car to the one in Kenilworth.

im assuming you are in cape town?

ive also struggled finding a decent opel mechanic/workshop

ive got the number of a 'backyard' mechanic, and so far the work he has done on my car has been brilliant (and cheap). you do have to sit on his case a bit tho
he is in athlone

The Bosch service centres are franchises type business as far as I know.
Each one is going to be owned by a different person so it's difficult to expect the same service from one centre to the next
Having said that, each of them obviously would have to conform to Bosch standards and answer to issues at francise level so you're probably better off than with the run of the mill backyard mechanic.
I've got a little 1.6i bantam that I use as a runaround and have been happier with the service received at Bosch near me than I ever was with the Ford dealership.
