:mad: <rant>

So the night before I went of leave I rented HangOver 2, got the SMS to say successfully purchased. Waited hours for the message to come up, which never did, check in the box office menu, nothing. Not thinking too much about it since all my previous rentals worked fine and thinking they surely won't charge me since they such a good and honest company. (That last bit was extreme sarcasm.)

Went on a lekka holiday and came back and got my Multichoice statement, they charged me for the movie. So I contacted support about it, they generally had a FU attitude, if you don't complain about the problem withing 48 hours tough cookies for you.

I basically gave Multichoice R25 for nothing and they are refusing to refund me, they will rather loose future business than just giving me back R25 or resend the movie. So Multichoice go F*** your self and I will never use Box Office again, the day TopTV, SABC, e-tv or any other souce that is live, air MotoGP and F1 I am gone!

</rant>

Now I feel bit better.

:o

If you go rant on their site, they'll probably resend you the movie or even refund you. The call centre is useless. Unless you just wanted to vent is all:o

I bet you're still paying for DSTV? Not much of a fight is it?

I have no sympathy for you. It is common knowledge that Multichoice are a bunch of thieves.

This whole 'SMS/prompt to enter code' setup to watch a Boxoffice movie is not reliable at all. I'd rather suggest them have pre-set PIN numbers specific to your smartcard present on your decoder already. MC can SMS the code to you or you can get it from your MC account in their website.

meh, wasnt such a good movie - think of it as them saving you two hours of your life. :D

Well yeah, but the only reason I do pay is for MotoGP and F1, unfortuntely I am an addict to motorsport. The day I can get a live feed of reasonable quality I will for sure dump them.

I've still got about R500 credit at Multichoice. I've switched my Dstv on again for a month, just for the Rugby World cup last year. When I phoned them to get it activated, they reminded me that I still have credit with them, but the moegoes still charged me for the month, instead of taking it off my existing credit :wtf: So, I still got credit, at least

I only the used the 1 free movie on BoxOffice and decided no thanks. The picture quality was bad - too much compression artefacts. The broadcast quality on the normal HD channels is much better.
