Boy killed after being mistaken for monkey

Are you not for going to answer the question? People get infractions and eventually banned for the crap you are pulling. Ask ngwe.....oh wait

Is it too difficult to stay away? And leave me alone?

Whats happening in this forum? That guy insulted me no one said anything. I insult back and you all on my case?
Is that how it works here?
Did i insult anyone else other than him coz he started it?
Mnxim

The same thing that happens in virtually every thread in NaCA. A few posts that are on topic and then the whole thing becomes an unreadable cesspool of vitriol.

Lol as if it's you who decides if a person is racist or not. It's not your call / judgement to make chill out.
It's not as clear as black and white (excuse the pun).

And you are? If you cry racist everyday nobody will take you seriously the day that you actually really come across racists.

Dreamb and the Victim Brigade, looks like you got a good dose of egg on face with this one.

Lol. Man encroaches and suddenly animals become the pests?

We are one arrogant species.
Or maybe not. Monkeys will go out into surrounding areas to find food. You can never give them enough and in the wild they're in every other animal's territory. Where people make the mistake is to think they are 'cute' and then feed them so they gradually come looking for food.

Like many people when the law doesn't allow you to protect your property.

Eye sight lol?
The bastard hit a headshot.
End of...
No a head and chest shot with a shotgun. Not that difficult.

Yes really strange that a white man has a black name. Then reading the Times article it seems the boy knew him well and referred to him as "mkhulu" (grandfather). They apparently chased away a few monkeys and then climbed the guava tree after which the old man came out having seen some monkeys just before.

Who is this a***rsehole seriously?
Of all the things you could be you just chose to be an a**rse?
So are we going to get an answer from you? Knowing now it's 99.9% probable it was a black man, you still think he purposefully shot the boy? You still think he has good eyesight? Penny Sparrow is still responsible?

Let's see who the racist hypocrites here are.

I said "been", as in recent cases involving white farmers they got off light. Pitbull was the one making an unfounded generalisation by implying that because the shooter has now been found to be black he'll somehow get off light just by virtue of this skin colour. I only made a reference to past cases and didn't try to speculate as to why in those cases involving white farmers, the sentences were light.
It's a reasonable assumption to make as it can't be blamed on racism. Still waiting for your substantiation that white farmers get lighter sentences.

I think specifying a minimum sentence is more ominous. It means he can't get less than that, with the upper bound open up to what's allowed for murder. If they'd said a max of 15 years it would imply he can get anything from zero to 15 years while what you're saying is he can get a min of 5 and some unknown max within what the law allows). How hard is that to comprehend?
That depends on what he's found guilty of. Also look at Oscar's case, 5 years initially and out in 10 months.

Of the few publicised cases I can recall off the top it is
- those guys in polokwane who killed some poachers
- the guy who fed someone to lions
- ET for turning that guy into a vegetable
- there's one who mistook his worker for a baboon
- I think there's also one who killed a baby carried on the back of her mother (also baboon I think)

I don't see your point regrading what I said about a minimum sentence of 5 years vs a potential min of zero. They said he could be looking at that as a minimum not that he'll get that.

Thank heavens I only last checked this forum when it was still at page 4.

Nope, I'm not going to read through all 16 pages.
